#1937-Bot is not telling the right Date and Time
Hello all, hope everyone is fine.
We are facing a very weird issue related to date and time.
Let me explain,
We created a bot with some conditions of Date and Time, but it was not responding as it should be.
Then I suddenly ask the bot "What is Today's date?"
and shockingly it replied 12February2024,
I asked about time and it told the wrong time.
After some time, I again asked that date and it responded some date of 2023, and same wrong time.
I checked thoroughly and came to know that it sometimes follow some other timezone (as it gave a fixed some hour behind the acta time) but sometimes it's giving some random time.
And same with the date.
Anyone experienced this?
Hello
I've been reporting this for a while now, and no one has responded to any of my threads. https://botsailor.com/forum/thread/1930-time-zone-error
The bot also doesn't clearly indicate when it's working or not. It always runs for at least 4 hours, saying it's not working, and when it is... causing confusion for customers.
Exactly. And it leaves a very bad impact on customers.
I have been in contact with whatsapp support for very long but there is still no solution. Instead, they are suggesting strange things, like, they suggest to ask date and time from customer 🤷♂️
I don't know where is professionalism.
I have opened a ticket but still no response!
Same here i also notice that if i call api for calendly, it fetach the data with Zulu time zone i.e. UTC, Even i clarl;y call api with IST that is indian time zone, I dont understand, are we part of your experiment and we paying for your experiment, evey day clients are shouting on us due to lots of errors, Now i am afraid to onboard new clients.
That's the real issue. I also feel like they are experimenting on us by taking money from us.
Sometime support agent behave like below the lay man. Some of agents don't even know the basic things.
We will fix the issue as soon as possible.
Thank you.
The issue has been fixed. Now the AI will provide the current date and time (UTC).
Thank you for being with BotSailor.

Admin.
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Delete the subscriber and try again. or use a new number to test the flow. It's possible that Contextual Memory is enabled, which may cause repeated incorrect date/time responses. We recommend disabling Contextual Memory or setting the number to 0 for a while and checking it out.If the issue still persists, please open a support ticket and share your login credentials securely. Our team will be happy to investigate and assist you further.
Thank you for being with BotSailor.
I tried everything but issue is still there.
Not only issue persist, but we're facing another issue now.
Earlier we set time condition (according to UTC) and date condition and managed somehow. But now no conditions are working. Obviously, opening a new ticket as always.
