Free-Form Inside 24 Hours. Templates Anytime.
WhatsApp does not let you blast the same free text to everyone, forever. Broadcast Center makes the rule visible: pick 24 hours for people who just wrote you, or Anytime with a Meta-approved template.
Free messaging window
Targets subscribers whose last interaction is inside 24 hours. Build the message in Visual Flow Builder: text, image, video, buttons, catalog, or a short sequence.
- No template required
- Interactive and ecommerce messages
- Best for follow-ups right after a chat
Approved template messaging
Reaches all subscribed contacts after filters. You must pick a synced, approved WhatsApp template and fill header, body, and button variables.
- Promos, reminders, and utility updates
- Carousel and authentication templates
- Optional Marketing Messages API
Target the Right Audience, Not Everyone
Audience comes from opted-in WhatsApp bot subscribers—not a CSV of strangers. Include or exclude labels and subscriber lists, then filter by country, custom field, or when they were added. The targeted count updates before you save.
Turn a Broadcast Into a Customer Journey
Desktop campaigns open Visual Flow Builder. Inside 24 hours you can send buttons, catalog items, and a short sequence—not one static paragraph. When someone taps or replies, automation can continue, an AI Agent can answer, and your team can take over in Shared Inbox.
Send the campaign to a targeted, opted-in list.
The customer clicks a button or writes back on WhatsApp.
Automation or an AI Agent continues the conversation.
Humans join in Shared Inbox when the deal needs them.
Personalize Every Message With Customer Data
Assign custom fields on the subscriber—plan, city, order ID, due date—or use their name. A WhatsApp broadcast inserts those values into 24-hour messages and Anytime template variables. One campaign. Thousands of unique sends.
Hi #LEAD_USER_FIRST_NAME#, your #Plan# trial in #City# ends on #DueDate#. Order #OrderID# is ready—reply here or tap the button to pick a time.
Send Now, Send Later, or Stop Mid-Flight
Choose a schedule time and timezone, space recipients with a delay, and assign a label after the send. Pause, resume, or restart from Broadcast Center. When a completed campaign still has failures, resend only the unreached people.
See Who Got It, Who Opened It, Who Did Not
Each campaign keeps Targeted, Sent, Delivered, Opened, and Unreached from WhatsApp webhooks. Download CSV and resend only the failed rows. Replies are not a fake column on this report—they continue in Shared Inbox, where the sale, booking, or support ticket actually happens.
The Campaign Leaves. The Reply Comes Home.
Every reply returns to Shared Inbox, where AI Agents and your human team continue the same WhatsApp thread—qualify, recommend, or hand off—until it becomes a sale or a resolved ticket.
Broadcast
Send a targeted, personalized WhatsApp campaign from Broadcast Center.
AI Agents
When the customer replies, an AI Agent can answer, recommend, and qualify before a human joins.
Shared Inbox
Your team assigns, notes, and closes the conversation on the same thread.

Write a dynamic message
Use Flow Builder or an approved template, and insert assigned custom fields so each person gets their own values.

Track sent, delivered, and opened. When someone replies, AI or your team closes it in Shared Inbox.
WhatsApp Broadcasting FAQ
Opt-in audiences, templates, the 24-hour window, Meta charges, scheduling, custom fields, and reports—answered from the real product.
BotSailor WhatsApp Broadcasting is the most-used feature in the product. You send official Cloud API campaigns to opted-in WhatsApp bot subscribers—not a pasted phone list. Personalize each send with assigned custom fields, then segment, schedule, pause, and report at the recipient level.
Native WhatsApp broadcast lists send the same message from a personal or business app. BotSailor campaigns run on the Cloud API, target subscribed contacts with labels, lists, country, and custom fields, and show sent, delivered, opened, and unreached counts. Replies land in Shared Inbox instead of a personal phone.
24 hours targets subscribers who messaged your bot in the last 24 hours. You can send free-form Visual Flow Builder messages: text, media, buttons, and catalog content. Anytime can reach all subscribed contacts, but only with a Meta-approved WhatsApp template.
Yes, for Anytime campaigns. After the 24-hour customer-care window, WhatsApp requires a pre-approved template. Create and sync templates in Bot Manager, then pick one when you configure the campaign. Inside the 24-hour window you can send normal flow messages without a template.
Only opted-in subscribers on your connected WhatsApp bot. Unsubscribed people are excluded. You can narrow the audience with include/exclude labels, subscriber lists, country, custom field values, and recently added date ranges.
Yes. Assign custom fields on each subscriber—plan, city, order ID, due date, or any field you create. Broadcasts insert those values into 24-hour messages and into Anytime template variables (header, body, and buttons). One campaign can send a different message to every person.
Yes. Send immediately or choose Send later with a time and timezone. You can also set a delay between recipients. Scheduled campaigns are processed by the server queue and may take extra time under load. From Shared Inbox you can also schedule a template or flow to one contact.
Broadcast Center shows 30-day totals plus per-campaign Targeted, Processed (Sent), Delivered, Opened, and Unreached. Open a campaign report for recipient-level times and errors, download CSV, and resend failed messages on completed campaigns.
Daily volume follows your official Meta messaging limit (trust tier), which typically starts at 1,000 and can scale toward 100,000 as quality stays healthy. BotSailor also enforces your plan message quota before a campaign is queued.
Official Cloud API only. Campaigns use your WhatsApp Business account, phone number ID, and approved templates outside the 24-hour window. BotSailor does not send broadcasts through unofficial WhatsApp clients.
Broadcast messages appear on the customer thread. If someone replies, an AI Agent can continue the conversation, or your team can join in Shared Inbox—assign, note, and follow up on the same chat. Agents can also send or schedule a template or flow to one contact from that conversation.
Yes. WhatsApp Cloud API bills conversation categories (marketing, utility, authentication, and service) on your Meta / WhatsApp Business account. BotSailor also counts messages against your plan quota before a campaign is queued. Template approval and daily send limits still follow Meta rules.
Yes. You can pause a running campaign, resume or restart it, force reprocess if needed, and resend failed messages after a campaign completes. Pending campaigns can be edited or deleted.
