How to Configure Confirm Order & Cancel Order Quick Actions for WhatsApp in BotSailor

Before You Begin

You need an active BotSailor account with dashboard access. This guide focuses on theConfirm Orderprocess. For Cancel Order, follow the same steps and use the Cancel Order option instead.

Part 1: Access Confirm Order / Cancel Order in Quick Actions


Step 1: Open Quick Actions

From the BotSailor dashboard, navigate to:

Dashboard > Chatbot Manager > Select Bot > Automation > Quick Actions

Part 2: Set Up the Confirm Order Flow


Step 1: Open the Flow Block

Log in to your BotSailor dashboard. Navigate to Chatbot Manager, select your WhatsApp bot, open Automation, select Keyword Replies, and click Create.

A Flow Block will appear.


Step 2: Configure the Flow Blocks

  • Enter the trigger keyword.
  • Add an Interactive Message block, write the message body, and save it.
  • Add a button, give it the title Confirm Order, select Send Message as the Button Action, and save it.
  • Add a Text block, write the confirmation message, and save it.

Part 3: Save and Test the Output


Step 1: Save the Complete Flow

Review the complete flow, then click Save in the upper-right corner of the Flow Block.


Step 2: Test the Real-Time Output

Test the flow in WhatsApp to confirm that the Confirm Order button and confirmation message work as expected.

Use the Default Quick Action in Shared Inbox

You can also use the default Confirm Order and Cancel Order quick action templates from the Shared Inbox.

Verification: How to Know It Worked

Trigger the configured flow and press the Confirm Order button. The user should receive the confirmation message configured in the Text block. For the Cancel Order version, repeat the same process using the Cancel Order option.

Common Troubleshooting


Error: The bot is not responding

Check whether the bot's AI agent is conflicting with the flow, and confirm that the chatbot is active.


The configured flow does not run as expected

Check that the complete Flow Block has been saved on that drag & drop flow builder.
