Summary
The user list in the dashboard shows a green tick next to verified emails, but the user details API doesn’t return this. Please add the email verification status to the API response.
Current behaviour
Take two users from the dashboard:
One email is green tick means email is verified and another one is not
The two API responses have the same fields as you can see in screenshot attach. Nothing in them shows that one email is verified and the other isn’t, so an API consumer can’t tell the two users apart.
Requested change
Add the verification status to the message object in the user details response. For example:
"email": "user@example.com", "email_verified": true, "email_verified_at": "2026-10-22 08:25:10",
email_verified: a boolean, trueonly when the user has completed email verification. This is the same condition that shows the green tick in the dashboard.email_verified_at: optional. A timestamp of when the email was verified, ornullif it hasn’t been.
Why we need this
We use the API to decide which users to email. We only want to email verified addresses, because:
- An unverified email may be fake, mistyped or abandoned.
- Emails to those addresses are likely to bounce.
- A high bounce rate hurts our sending domain’s reputation, so even emails to valid users are more likely to land in spam or be blocked.
Right now the only place to see verification status is the dashboard, so we can’t filter recipients automatically.
Acceptance criteria
- The user details API returns
email_verifiedfor every user. - Its value always matches the green tick in the dashboard user list.
- Existing fields stay unchanged, so current integrations keep working.
