#607-Subscriber name showing as private

Team even after contact replied to our message the subscriber name in whatsapp is showing as provate ideally it should fetch the display name and upaate the name but not happening

Regarding private, initially we guess, it's something because of some security from WhatsApp account of subscriber. However we will check more. About name field doesn't have value, it's sending the variable name. We will do some work around for sending other value with fallback in future. Regards

One thing please, let me know. Is these contact is added manually and private name is given by you ?

No contact added via webhook trigger and if we dint select the subscribe name in webhook its showing as private

Okay, Got it. yes, We have intentionally inserted private if there is no name select. However we will update the name when subscriber send message in next update. Thanks

Yes fix this, if customer messages us then automatically name should be updated
