🌍 Our CSR Belief: Responsibility Begins with People

Here at BotSailor, we understand that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not limited to community and environmental activities. It starts with how a company takes care of its people. To us, CSR is a responsibility that any organization should aim to positively impact, inside and outside the company.  

Sponsoring zero carbon campaigns on the one hand, and fostering empathy and appreciation in the workplace, demonstrates that we indeed live our values. Our CSR philosophy is rooted in care and respect.

From sponsoring cross-country climate-smart rides to BotSailor’s nurturing mental well-being within the workplace, our CSR targets. These are driven by one belief: change starts with people. And people come first to us.

💛 Eid with Empathy: Celebrating the Heart of BotSailor

It marked a period for contemplation, thankfulness, and joy when the holy Eid festival approached. How else to celebrate the spirit of BotSailor, if not with the incredible people who make BotSailor, BotSailor?

In commemoration of this significant event, Eid hampers were shared with our team members. This was not done as a formality, but rather as a genuine expression of their great appreciation for the unflagging support and love of their employees.

It brought forward the sort of understanding that shaped and built the organization. Each of the employees’ actions is important—from writing a customer’s code to helping them out, meeting a deadline, and showing small acts of kindness.

The BotSailor Culture: Flexibility, Empathy, and Trust

At BotSailor, we do not have a strict code of conduct to follow, and we do not enslave ourselves to timetables, rather the culture here is built on trust.

-People thrive better when there is breathing space, so here, as per our belief, productivity is enhanced tremendously.
-Policies aren't as helpful when it comes down to supporting and understanding each other, and that's why empathy is key.
-Each member of our team puts forth their utmost effort, and that's entirely because of passion, not pressure. We foster autonomy as it's trusted that the best will be delivered.

Unlike many who are conflict resolved, we focus on the human-first approach, and unlike many Eid is not solely celebrated for gifts. Celebrations at BotSailor entail the core values of the organization: gifts, shared values, team spirit, and seeing each other succeed while growing individually.

🌱 CSR Beyond the Office Walls

Part of our Eid initiative deals with our commitment towards responsible business practices. During the current year, BotSailor had the honor of sponsoring a 1,000 km cross-country cycling tour conducted by students from Rajshahi University as a means of promoting Zero Carbon Emissions, a daring awareness campaign that sparked throughout the country and was covered on the news by DBC News. 

From caring for the environment, to empowering students, actively contributing to CSR, balanced with the well-being of employees; we don’t see CSR as a responsibility to fulfill, we prefer to call it an expression of our principles.

Looking Ahead: Sustaining What Truly Matters

Indeed, ultimate success is not showcased by growth figures or ratios but rather by the affirmative difference made in the society.

From a community campaign level to an Eid small act of kindness level, we aim to stand by our beliefs and our people. We aim to grow responsibly while leading with compassion, indicating that we are focused on building a company that feels like home for everyone working at it.
