At the top of this module, you’ll see two buttons: one to create a campaign and another to connect additional Meta Ad accounts. Before clicking the “Create” button, make sure to select the ad account from the drop-down list.

 


 

Step-1: Create Campaign

Give a name to the campaign and select the objective from the drop-down list. There are three options to choose from: Outcome_Engagement, Outcome_Sales, and Outcome_Traffic. If the ad is going to be a special ad, select it from the available list, or simply select "None." Then, choose the ad status as Active or Paused (you may want to pause it first and activate the campaign later). Finally, click the Next button to proceed to the next step: creating the Ad Set.



 

Step-2: Create Ad Set

Add a bid amount—this is the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for a result based on your optimization goal. Then, select the budget type and enter your budget amount. Choose the optimization goal as either Impressions or Conversations, and select the Facebook page for which the ad will be created. Next, set the Start and End Time for the ad and set the status of the ad to Active.

Then comes the target audience settings. From there, select the country target type, and then choose either specific countries or a group of countries, depending on the selected option. Click the Next button to proceed to the next step.



 

Step-3: Create Ad Creative

In this step, we need to provide details such as the Ad Header, Primary Text Message, Ad Description, and upload the Ad Image. Then, select the type of welcome message—there are two options to choose from: Greetings with Autofill Message and Greetings with Ice Breaker. After selecting the type, we need to provide information according to the selected message type.

For Ice Breaker, we need to add a greeting text and icebreaker questions. For Greetings with Autofill Message, we need to provide a greeting message, a CTA button URL (optional), and a WhatsApp greeting message.

Step-4: Create Ad

In this step, we just need to specify the Ad status. We can alternate between Active and Paused. If we think we want to pause the ad set for now, we can change the status to Active later. Select your desired Ad status and click the Next button.



 

Finally, just publish the ad. You can also preview the ad on different devices.
