#2405-Urgent Request to Withdraw Data Deletion Decision
Recently I noticed that many of my older conversations have disappeared from the inbox. After contacting support, I was informed that this was an intentional decision by the authority to delete old data.
With due respect, this decision is highly concerning and logically unjustified.
Data is the backbone of any communication platform, and removing historical messages directly harms our ability to understand customer intent, maintain continuity, and provide quality service. Without prior conversation history, it becomes impossible to track issues, verify previous commitments, or maintain a proper CRM workflow.
This approach feels unprofessional and significantly disrupts business operations.
I strongly urge the authority to reconsider and immediately withdraw this decision.
Restoring access to old data—or at least providing a clear alternative solution—is essential for maintaining reliability and trust in the platform.

What if a customer broadcasts to 10,000 people in a one go & receive More Than 200 leads Using Quick Reply, How Will He Get Rest Of Leads & Continue Manual Conversation With Them?
Dear BS team this decision is not good for any business partner removing old data and adding new chat limits creates serious gaps in communication. You break the continuity that every team needs to handle customers, verify past messages, and manage leads properly.
We need a clear solution on an urgent basis restoring message history or giving an alternative retention option is important for stable operations. The platform must support high-volume communication without blocking access to conversations

BS team this is very unprofessional decision to intentionally delete our data without prior notice.
You have to increase storage capacity and finding a way to store at affordable cost while you are growing with new reseller and customer.

To clarify, BotSailor retains subscriber chat data for up to 90 days as part of our standard data retention policy. After this period, older conversations are automatically removed from the system. We recommend exporting or backing up any important chats within this timeframe if long-term access is required. [You can backup chats using the BotSailor API ]

Thank you for your response and for explaining the 90-day data retention policy.
However, I would like to mention that many businesses rely heavily on long-term conversation history for service, support, legal references, and CRM continuity. Automatically deleting chats after 90 days creates major challenges, as users cannot review previous discussions or commitments.
At minimum, a 12-month retention option is necessary.
Also, this policy was never publicly announced, which makes the sudden data loss even more concerning. I strongly request that you introduce a 12-month data retention policy for users. Additionally, deleting the data of active running clients is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
Dear Kamrul Hasan thanks for the response but it does not address the issue the decision to delete data after 90 days is not practical for businesses that handle long sales cycles repeated customer interactions or ongoing support cases.
Exporting or backing up chats is not a workable solution for daily operations teams need live access to full history inside the platform manual backups slow down workflows and increase the risk of data loss and how we will access it in the dashboard?
Please escalate this to your management the current setup creates real operational problems and needs urgent attention

3 months data deletion was from the beginning, It's not nothing new. There is no changes here recent days. It was from 2 years before about live chat conversation data storage period is 90 days.
