Messenger Sequence Campaigns in BotSailor allow you to automate a series of messages that are sent to your subscribers over time. This is ideal for nurturing leads, onboarding users, or delivering value-driven content at scheduled intervals after subscription.

With BotSailor's intuitive visual builder, you can create and schedule sequences without writing any code, using easy-to-configure flows and drag-and-drop tools.

Step-by-Step Guide

 

 

Step 1: Select the Facebook Page Bot

From the left sidebar, click the bot icon to Chat Bot Manager and Navigate to Facebook Bot Section.
 Select your connected Facebook page from the list (e.g., La Zonè) to access bot components.

Step 2: Go to Sequence

From the list of bot components (Bot Reply, AI Assistant, Broadcast Template, etc.), click on “Sequence”.

Step 3: Create New Sequence

Click on the “Create” button at the top-right to begin a new sequence campaign.

Step 4: Design the Trigger Bot Flow

 

  1. In the Bot Flow Builder, choose a Start Bot Flow trigger (e.g., keyword “bsp”).
  2. Add a Generic Template with an image and title (e.g., “Welcome to BotSailor”).
  3. Add a button labeled something like “Subscribe” and set the action to Subscribe to SequenceNew Sequence.
  4. Click on the Next button and take a text element. (e.g: “You are subscribed to sequence”)

Step 5: Configure New Sequence Campaign

A New Sequence Campaign box will appear. Fill in:

  • Name: e.g., BotSailor Messenger Sequence
  • Time Settings: Starting Time (00:00), Closing Time (24:00)
  • Timezone: e.g., Asia/Dhaka
  • Message Tag: Choose a relevant one like ACCOUNT_UPDATE

Step 6: Schedule Sequence Messages 

 

 

Add steps like:

  • Send Message After 1 Hour →Create the first message (e.g., “This is the first sequence message”)
  • Send Message After 12 Hours →Assign a second message
  • Send Message After Day-1 (Select Outside 24-hours Time Window) → Follow the same procedure and assign a third message

Now, save the bot.

Step 7: Check the sequence

  • Trigger: Type the trigger word (e.g: bsp)

 

  • Subscribe: Click to Subscribe to initiate the sequence.
  • Time-Interval:
    • You should be getting the first message after 1 Hour.


       
      • Second message after 12 hours.

           

 

  • Last message after 24 hours (1 day: Outside 24 hours time window).
