Before starting, make sure you have:

● A BotSailor account.

● A connected Facebook Page.

● Admin access to the Facebook Page.

● Facebook Messenger enabled.

● A public reply message.

● A private reply template.

Comment Automation automatically responds when someone comments on your Facebook posts.

For example:

User comment:
This is so funny 😂
Public reply:
Glad you enjoyed it! Follow Funny Video for more amazing videos. 😄
Private Messenger reply:
Thanks for engaging with Funny Video. Stay connected for more entertaining content. 😊

Step 1: Open Comment Automation

Go to:
Chatbot Manager→ Facebook Page → Engagement → Comment Automation

Select your Facebook Page and open the Full Page Campaign settings.

Step 2: Enable Full Page Reply

In the Full Page Campaign section, turn Full Page Reply ON.
This enables automatic replies to comments on the page.

Step 3: Create a Reply Template

Go to:
Manage → Reply Template → Add New Template

Create your public comment reply.
Example:
Glad you enjoyed it! Follow Funny Video for more amazing videos. 😄

Step 4: Create a Private Reply Template

Go to:
Manage → Reply Template → Add New Template

Create a private Messenger reply.
Template Name:
Funny Video – Private Comment Reply
Message:
Thanks for engaging with Funny Video. Stay connected for more entertaining content. 😊

Save the template.

Step 5: Select the Private Reply Template

Open the Full Page Reply settings.
Under:
Select a Message Template for Private Reply
select your Funny Video – Private Comment Reply template.

This allows BotSailor to send the private message to the commenter.

Step 6: Start the Full Page Campaign

After configuring the reply settings, start the Full Page Campaign.
When successful, BotSailor displays a confirmation message.

Step 7: Test the Automation

Use another Facebook account and comment on a Funny Video post.
Example:
This is so funny 😂

Check that:

● The public reply appears under the comment.

● The private Messenger message is sent.

● The campaign processes the comment successfully.

Public Reply Not Working

Check:

● Full Page Reply is ON.

● The correct Reply Template is selected.

● Facebook Page is connected.

Private Reply Not Working

Check:

● Private Reply Template is created.

● The template is selected under Private Reply.

● Messenger is available for the connected Facebook Page.

Campaign Not Starting

Check the campaign settings and make sure the required fields are completed before starting the Full Page Campaign.
