To connect Telegram to BotSailor, you first need a Telegram bot.
Here's how you can create one easily:
β Search for "BotFather" in Telegram
β Open Telegram and search for BotFather.
β It is the official bot that creates other bots.
β Start a Chat with BotFather
β Tap the Start button.
β BotFather will show a list of available commands.
β Create a New Bot
β Type /newbot and send.
β BotFather will ask you to name your bot.
β After that, choose a unique username ending with bot (example: TeleBot).
β Save the Bot Token
β Once you set the name and username, BotFather will generate a Bot Token.
β Copy this token — you will need it to link the bot to BotSailor.
Now that your Telegram bot is ready, let’s connect it to BotSailor.
β Log in to BotSailor Dashboard
β Visit botsailor.com and log into your account.
β Navigate to "Connect Bot" under Telegram Section
β From the left sidebar menu, click Connect Bot under the Telegram section.
β Paste Your Bot Token
β Paste the Bot Token you copied from BotFather into the Telegram Bot Token field.
β Click Connect.
β Successful Connection
β BotSailor will validate your token and connect your Telegram bot automatically.
