#2160-Can Botsailor Trigger an execution on CEX?
I have been thinking about whether it is possible to set up a system with Botsailor that would trigger a trade the very moment Bitcoin touches a price I have in mind. The logic sounds straightforward: I would define a rule, for example, if btc price reaches a support or resistance level, then an automatic buy or sell order should execute instantly.
The reason this question keeps coming up for me is because of how quickly BTC moves. Anyone who has watched the market closely knows how often the price tests a level for only a brief second before reversing. In those cases, reacting manually is nearly impossible. By the time you click to place an order, the opportunity could already be gone. That is why automation seems so appealing.
But I am not sure how precise Botsailor can be in this situation. Would it actually be able to catch the price the exact moment it is reached, or would there be a small delay in processing? Even a few seconds could make the trade fill differently than planned. I also wonder how flexible the setup can be. Is it just a simple trigger at one level, or could I combine rules, such as placing an order at a target price while also attaching a stop-loss and take-profit in the same instruction?
The broader question here is whether Botsailor is designed to handle the volatility of BTC in real time. If it can execute reliably at the levels I set, it could completely change the way I approach trading. Instead of sitting in front of the charts waiting for a signal, I could focus on planning ahead and let the system handle execution.
