
#1994-Manual Cancellation in WhatsApp Input Flow
We’re facing two critical issues with our WhatsApp input flow:
Expiry Time Not Working
Despite setting an expiry time (e.g., 10 minutes), the flow doesn’t terminate automatically when inactive.
No Manual Cancellation Option
Users cannot exit the flow mid-process (e.g., via a "CANCEL" command or button) to return to the main menu.
Request:
Confirm if this is a platform limitation or a configuration error.
Provide steps to:
a) Fix the expiry timer functionality.
b) Implement a manual exit (e.g., keyword trigger like "CANCEL" or a button).
Example Workflow Needed:
Bot: "Enter your details or type CANCEL to exit."
User: "CANCEL" → Bot: Returns to main menu instantly.
Yes team please bring this feature to cancel input flow.. many time user getting confused
Please provide a custom error message, as my market is Spanish! It can't be changed in translation.
We have fixed the issue of not resetting user input flow after set time. It should work now properly.
