Issue with Product Bots on Android – Request for Feedback and Resolution

Hi team,

I’m sharing this despite already having an open ticket on the matter because I’m eager to hear if other white-label colleagues are experiencing the same issue.

The product bots (interactive > ecommerce > single product) are not working as expected on Android. When clicking the “view product” button, it sometimes works, but more often than not, it doesn’t. However, this issue only occurs on Android; on WhatsApp Web and iOS devices, it works 100% as intended.

This has caused issues with clients who rely on this feature, as well as for my own operations, leading to confusion and downtime. I understand that the Botsailor team has tested and confirmed it works fine on their end, which makes me think this could potentially be a WhatsApp-related issue specific to the Americas region. However, I haven’t received any clear answers on this.

I’d appreciate hearing feedback from other resellers and look forward to any concrete solutions or updates regarding this issue.

This has been going on for a long time, a big client who pays a good plan terminated our contract over this issue. However botsailor prices are on the rise.
